In continuity with and in support of the project “Culture of Peace for the Security of the Future Generations”, the Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation prepared and published 17 “Manuals” to teach the culture of peace (from kindergarten to elementary schools, high schools and universities).
These educational manuals were presented to the international community within the different activities of the “World Forum for Culture of Peace” organised by the Albabtain Cultural Foundation on June 13, 2019, at the International Court of Justice (Palace of Peace) in the Hague, Netherlands.
The World Forum for Culture of Peace, organised yearly by the Albabtain Cultural Foundation, is bringing together leaders, high-level officials from government and international organizations, academics, and members of civil society to discuss the Culture of Peace within education, and the protection of humanity.
CeAS President (Luigi Moccia) was charged to coordinate and edit the series of four Higher Education Manuals, in the framework of the Euro-Arab Institute for Dialogue of Cultures and the “Culture of Peace” project developed and carried out over the years in partnership with the Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation.
The four Higher Education Manuals, for use of university students at bachelor up to PFD degree, available at the web site address of the World Forum for Culture of Peace (https://www.worldfcp.org/) have been realised by a team of researchers from the “Antonio Papisca” Human Rights Centre at Padua University (It) made up of Marco Mascia (Director of the Centre), Desirée Campagna and Pietro de Perini.
